Since it was established in 1978 Sims Reed Ltd. has been trading in the heart of St James's to an international clientele and is now one of the leading antiquarian booksellers in London. The bookshop specialises in material related to art and architecture and stocks a wide range of both original and reference material in the following categories: Artists' Illustrated Books, Fine Art Reference, Architecture, Photography, The Applied Arts, Islamic Art, Asian Art, and International Exhibitions.

Situated just a short walk from the Bookshop, the Gallery specialises in original modern master graphics by European, American and British Artists, including works by Bacon, Braque, Chagall, Christo, Delaunay, Freud, Richard Hamilton, Damien Hirst, Hockney, Hodgkin, Allen Jones, Leger, Lichtenstein, Matisse, Miro, Henry Moore, Picasso, Bridget Riley, Warhol, and Wesselmann.

We are members of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), the Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD), and the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA).

All of our stock can be viewed by visiting our store in London, browsing online, reading our catalogues and visiting us at international book and print fairs.

All items are offered subject to prior sale. Price and availablity information is subject to change.

All items purchased from us may be returned if held to be unsatisfactory, provided we are notified of this within 7 days of the customer receiving the item.

Payment may be made by credit or debit card, cheque or bank transfer.

All payments will be made in Pounds Sterling, unless payment in a foreign currency has been agreed between the buyer and seller.

Credit card payments will be taken in Pounds Sterling.

Postage will be charged at cost and the buyer will be notified of the exact amount.

Unless otherwise instructed, all shipments will be insured in transit at our expense.

Title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment has been received in full.

Any contract arising from this website is made under British law.
